long awaited update

Been working at Ember Television for quite a while now but I haven't uploaded any of the new work that we have been doing so here is a lovely big chunk.


The Church of England have some very nice venues for weddings and wanted to promote them and we made a nice video for them that featured on several news websites (Woman Alive and USA Today). the edit was done in FCP and the Graphics were done in After Effects.

 

I have also been  working on a promo video for Big Bang Brewery. I made This in After Effects tweaking images up a bit in Photoshop

We have been working on some other corporate work for Warwick Business school and Birmingham city council but I don't think you will be that interested to see those.

Ember Televison for the BBC Politics show

Tom Levitt was the former MP for High Peak but in 2009 got caught up in the expenses scandal. After stepping down as MP Tom Levitt went on to write a play from an insiders point of view of the whole scandal.

Ember Television got exclusive access to Mr. Levitt as he performs for the first time. I edited the piece for Broadcast on the BBC politics show in November 2009.

Christmas 2010

Well I have a had a very enjoyable Christmas I got to see my family and go to Dubai to get some sun in. I managed to join the cant get out of Heathrow party for 3 days trying to leave the UK, so I only got to go to Saudi for 16 hours (before flying on to Dubai) in total and see my parents new house, as well as see my dogs for the first time in a year.

But I have really enjoyed it, Notably Wild Wadi in Dubai still the only place where you get pushed up a water slide by some very powerful water jets! which catches your bum off guard the first time with a water wedgie.

I've been working and having a great time at Ember Television for the last 2 months.  working on edits or the BBC, ITV, Warwick Uni and Birmingham City Council. I'll be uploading a few bits and bobs when in the near future.

Flying to the nebula

I have gotten a little fuzzy on my after effects skills, so as I have got lucky enough to get a few chances to work on some professional stuff using after effects I thought I should get my self up to speed making some nice stuff. I'm working on some more right now, really want Trapcode's particular though. cc particle world can only go so far damn it. Any way here is flying to the nebula I made whilst playing around with things.

Starting up

Welcome to my nice new blog. As Projects go by I will keep this up to date with all my goings on so subscribe if you want to stalk me properly. I've updated now with all the clips from earlier work whilst at UWE doing media practice so have a browse of the clips. Hope you enjoy. 

Spine TV Ident

Back in July Spine TV had a competition to get a new ident video I worked with my housemate Adam Tengku and this is what we came up up with. Didn't win in the end but I'm fairly happy with the short clip anyway.
